Editing Your Items and Tests

You can modify the content of any items or tests you created as long as they have a Draft status. After you publish a test, you cannot make changes to that test or any of the items on it.

When another educator shares a test or item with you, you may only edit its content if you were given editing permissions by the original author. You also cannot edit any content in a shared library, such as TEA Items.

• To make changes to your content, open the appropriate content tab and click Edit below the name of the item or test you want to edit (you may need to apply filters first). The corresponding builder page will appear.
• If a translation has already been entered for an item you are editing, you should be sure to update the translation to include any changes you make to the item’s original content. The Other Languages button in the toolbar of the item builder displays a warning icon when the translation may be out of date. You can click this button to access the translation editor for that item.
• To modify the period during which a Published test is available for administration, click the dates in the Test Window column for that test on the Tests tab. Then enter the revised dates in the window that pops up and click Set Test Window.
